Tuesday afternoon saw a passing of the leadership torch from our Grade 12 Barat Academy students to our Grade 11s during our cherished Last Will and Testament ceremony. Stories, smiles, laughter, tears, and words of wisdom, encouragement, and respect were passed between those departing and those who would soon take their place, with every Grade 12 student receiving a beautiful red rose to honour this special moment of sisterhood. The students also prepared a special dedication to Senior School teacher Carolyn Hipson, who will be retiring at the end of this school year, sharing love and gratitude for her decades-long commitment to her students.
