Tuition and Tuition Assistance

Can you afford to send your child to an independent school? Can you afford not to?

An outstanding education is expensive, but we know it’s worth every penny. So don’t let the cost of tuition stop you. We are seriously committed to ensuring no student who is academically qualified and mission-appropriate is denied a spot simply because of financial means. We use a combination of academic scholarships and bursary support to make a Sacred Heart education affordable.

Scholarships are merited by mission-appropriate Senior School students, whereas bursary support, where most of our financial support is directed, is based on demonstrated financial need and available to students in grades Primary-12. Current Sacred Heart families and new families whose child is accepted and enrolled can apply for tuition assistance through our Bursary Program. Bursary Program applications can be completed through our external partner, Apple Financial Services.

Sacred Heart accepts tuition assistance applications from families of new and returning students. If you need tuition assistance, please plan ahead as we do have a set timeline. It is important to enroll/re-enroll AND complete the Sacred Heart Tuition Assistance application via Apple Financial Services by February to be considered in the priority review in March. Sacred Heart will contact parents once tuition assistance decisions are made. If assistance is granted, it will be applied to the family’s account in September. If you have any questions, please contact our Director of Admissions, Marie Reyes.

“It was because of a Sacred Heart bursary that when I left Grade 6 to join Grade 7, the late Madame Michelle Wilson whispered in my ear that French was my calling and I would be great teacher. It was because of that bursary that Sacred Heart became my second home – the place where my love of learning was nurtured and my potential for success was long predicted by Miss Marilyn, “we’ve got ourselves a scholar here” she said to the little pig-tailed girl, gently taking my hand, embracing my curiosity and my family.”
