Representing the key elements of the Passion of the Christ, our Grade 3 students hosted their Elementary classmates, teachers, and some parents on a pilgrimage around the campus, visiting 14 homemade Stations of the Cross. The Stations represented Christ’s trial, crucifixion, and burial, and gave our students the opportunity to quietly and respectfully obverse as their classmates presented them with reflection and prayer to accompany their artwork. A 15th Station was added to give the added context of the Resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. It was a memorable and important way for us to observe Holy Week here at Sacred Heart.
