The school was filled to the brim with holiday cheer over the weekend as we held our annual Christmas Fair. We were pleased to have so many new and familiar faces join us in our new entrance, and take part in the countless activities that were happening throughout the School.
The Original Girls’ Gym was buzzing with bidders as another successful Silent Auction offered up dozens of incredible packages and items for bidders to choose from. Some highly-sought-after goods included the always-popular Senior School Cache Cache, an $800 Brightwood Golfing Package, $5,000 towards SD Orthodontics, and some fabulous cakes by parent Lola Heavy. In the Fountain Gym, students were practically bouncing off the walls while snacking on freshly-popped popcorn and enjoying our largest ever bouncy castle! Thanks to parent Keith Bourne for overseeing the Games Room for three consecutive years in a row, and amid power failures and other trials! Other highlights include the wonderful Craft Fair full of handmade goods, Second-hand Sam that filled the Little Theatre with everything you could think of, and New-to-you Uniform and Sports Shops. We would like to thank our Parents’ Guild President and Fair Chair Lee Gifford-Simms, her incredible team including Jennifer Chiesa, Robert Boyd, Eleanor Jamieson, Pam McKay, and Pam O’Regan and everyone who helped make this event a resounding success. We’re hoping this put you in the holiday spirit!
