A Day Of Pink, The Feast Of Mater Admirabilis

The hallways of the Sacred Heart School network were awash in pink today as students, faculty, and staff came together to reflect upon and celebrate the Feast of Mater Admirabilis.

At the Elementary and Senior School assemblies, Sacred Heart students presented in both English and French, explaining the origins of the Mary fresco we so deeply cherish, as well as the symbolism and meaning found within every drop of ink. Adding a cherry on top were the golden rays of light shimmering in through the windows, illuminating the festivities in a breathtaking and resplendent glow.

A very appreciative and special thanks is extended to our Grade 2 teachers Esther Penner and Mark Rees, and to Christina McKay, who’s Grade 7R Barat Religious Studies Class lead the way for our Senior School. And finally, a Happy Feast Day to our Campus Minister Moira Schrader!
