Grade 7 boys are bringing smiles to those in need

Our Fountain Academy Grade 7 students took part over the past few weeks in a very special fundraiser to support Operation Smile, a volunteer-based global medical charity that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial disfigurements in children and young adults.

Between the two Grade 7 classes, they raised over $1,600! Not only is that enough for more than six surgeries, their dollars are being matched, so ultimately they are supporting 13 life-changing surgeries that will bring smiles to some beautiful faces.

Congratulations to all the Grade 7 for their impressive effort and for supporting this amazing cause, and big thanks to Mr. MacSwain for his support. Well done everyone!
