We’re bursting with Sharks pride this week thanks to an amazing week of results from our student athletes.
Our Jr. Co-ed team placed 3rd at the Long Pond Hockey Tournament in Windsor after three fierce games against KES, Grammar, and Armbrae. Bridget MacLean conquered Martock and placed first in the Snowboard District Finals; next week she’ll compete in the Regionals! And, our swimmers were on fire at this year’s annual ACIS meet. Julie Nolan McCarthy placed 1st in 50m freestyle, breaststroke, and butterfly, while Sophia Deane placed 1st in 50m backstroke. Julie and Sophia then went on to finish 2nd in 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke respectively. Isobel McBride placed 2nd in 50m freestyle and 3rd in 50m butterfly and backstroke. To top it all off, Caroline Gillis, Isobel McBride, Sophia Deane, and Julie Nolan McCarthy placed 1st in the 4x50 relay.
Congratulations to all of our amazing athletes and a big thank you to their coaches for their dedication and passion. Go Sharks!
