Our Elementary School and members of our SH family gathered this morning in the Study Hall to celebrate the Feast of Epiphany.
A beautiful Nativity scene including the Wise Men, was in the center of the room, reminding all present, how a star guided the Wise Men to the place where Jesus lay. The significance behind the visit of the Wise Men, is the revelation of Jesus as King, as they were the first who publicly recognized the divinity of Jesus by offering gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Nathanael, who asked our students and attendees to close their eyes and imagine themselves as one of the Wise Men, seeing a radiant baby with his mom and dad, and to feel their hearts fill with joy upon seeing the baby. It was a very special ceremony where Fr. Nathanael told our students that their imagination is one of their great gifts from God.
Thank you to Fr. Nathanael, the Elementary School Liturgy Committee, and all those who made this mass possible.
