What an aweSTEM display! Many of our students wrote the first-ever Atlantic Science Links Association (ASLA) Science Contest exam, and Sacred Heart came out as the big winner, taking six of the top nine awards in the province!
The ASLA exam is composed of Nova Scotia Department of Education STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum content, curated by provincial experts in these industries. Nearly 2,000 Nova Scotian students in grades 7-9 participated in the contest, and the top three students in each grade category were awarded a monetary prize.
