The Grade 5s showed their amazing science fair projects to the School community at our annual Grade 5 Science Expo. Projects included investigations in chemistry, biology, physics, and even computer science, and showcased all kinds of subject matter including plant life, fruit energy, DNA, solar power, tennis balls, compost, and of course the classic cola and candy reaction experiment (for the record, rockets beat out life savers and mentos for explosion size!). There was an impressive disply of scientific knowledge on hand, and lots of technology as well this year as many presenters included video demonstrations of their experiments and findings. Based on the quality of the projects, we're expecting some future scientists will be coming our way. Well done everyone.
