Even though the winter weather is lingering in Halifax, our Running Club is out in full force!
ES Running Club has been meeting on a weekly basis in preparation for the Blue Nose Marathon, which happens rain or shine; or in today’s case—snow! Participants can choose to run, jog, or walk the distance during each training session. Some take this opportunity to get a little further each time, to push themselves to beat their personal best, or to take their time enjoying the outdoors and the company. Running Club wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for our fearless leader, Stephen Tugwell, along with several teachers and parent chaperones who help guide the students during their long-distance adventures. Good luck to our runners who will be competing in the Blue Nose Marathon this year; may the wind (not snow) be at your back!
