The great outdoors is an excellent classroom, and Brigadoon Village continues to be a stellar learning experience for our Senior School students. This week, the Grade 8 boys spent two-and-a-half days bonding, learning leadership and survival skills, and experiencing new adventures.
During their time at Brigadoon, they learned orienteering, archery, cooking in the outdoors, and how to build an outdoor shelter - an activity they were completely absorbed in. For many of the 28 boys, the experiences were completely new and provided them with an opportunity for hands-on, non-virtual learning! Thanks to Mr. Pinches, Ms. Fear, and Mr. Barrington for chaperoning.
